Landscaping
Please submit your landscaping plans on standard letter sized paper (you may use multiple sheets if needed).  The sooner you get them in to the HOA office, the sooner you will get your approval!

New Homeowners:  Please note that the CC&R's require that:
All required landscaping on a Lot shall be installed within one hundred-eighty (180) days after the earlier of the following:  (i) substantial completion of the Building on the Lot, or (ii) occupancy of the Building by an Occupant, with a reasonable extension for winter weather.

For details, please refer to Section 5.25 of the CC&R's (if you have lost your copy, you can download them from the link below).  It has been the policy of the SSOA Board for many years (and further ratified as of October 2002) to interpret  references to "landscape" in the CC&Rs to mean front, back, and side yards.  Also, the Board interprets references in Section 5.25c-2 relative to "initial landscaping" as indicating the minimum landscaping which must be completed upon move-in, with 5.25d requiring the remaining landscaping (front, back, and side yards) to be completed within 180 days - with a reasonable extension for winter weather.
