HISTORY

The land where Marina Village now stands was once part of the old Saratoga Springs Resort. Most people who have lived a number of years in Utah recall coming to the hotsprings resort at some point in time over the years - to picnic, boat, swim etc. There was a pool in this spot, and some amusement park rides.

Saratoga Springs Development recorded with Utah County the plat map for Saratoga Springs Plat 4 Sheet 3 PUD at the end of 1997. The Town of Saratoga Springs was incorporated on December 31, 1997. A revised plat map was recorded with Utah County in February 1998. Wardley/McLachlan Development LLC commenced construction in June 1998 and the first home was completed in 1999. Russell Packard Development took over the neighborhood in 2000. The last lots were sold to other parties in 2006 and the owners formed a new non-profit corporation in November 2006.

There are several home designs, all townhomes, and they integrate nicely together. Some of the homes are on the waterfront with spectacular views. Most of the homes have basements, many with outside entrances. As construction on the last few homes winds up, and landscaping is completed, we enjoy our private entrance to the adjoining park/marina/clubhouse/pavilion/pool.

The new board of directors and officers is working to transition from the development phase of the neighborhood into the owner controlled phase. We look forward to participation by all owners and residents to make our neighborhood a wonderful place to live and a great investment.
